Welcome to Samburu Dik-Dik Lodge, your tranquil retreat in the heart of the wild!  Our cozy camp is nestled in between Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba National Reserves and is bordered by the mighty Ewaso Nyero river; it’s unique location, so close to the main highway and Archers Post, yet so far from it’s hassle, offers an unmatched opportunity to unwind as you explore the beauty and diversity of Northern Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family and friends, we have the perfect room for you!

Samburu Dik-Dik offers a mostly undisturbed natural environment, home to dik-diks, hedgehogs, tortoises, geikos, and a great variety of birds. It is also visited by vervet monkeys, mongoose, rock hyrax, jackals and many other; elephants are also regular passerbys.

You will enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, a walk by the river, and the serene setting to relax and unwind on the shaded veranda after a long day of exploring. The upper terrace offers stunning views of the river and the surrounding wilderness. Both face the beautiful Shaba National Reserve and provide perfect backdrops for a morning coffee, an evening cocktail, to read a book or simply soak up the serenity of the African bush…

Dik-Dik House offers three cozy guest rooms, simply decorated and equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, spacious bathroom with hot and cool shower, access to the veranda and the upper terrace, to the pool and to the central kitchen where many friendly and informative discussion start while the chef is preparing your next meal.

Susuk Cottage is a two-room self-catering cottage featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a private screened-in living space and a shaded veranda overlooking the land and the variety of birds that come to enjoy the trees and natural seeds offered by the indigenous vegetation. Access to the pool is also available.

Acacia camping offer a safe and pristine environment to pitch your tent, with basic but clean shower and toilet, and occasional visit from dik-diks or a white-tail mongoose when everything is quiet.
